ATM thieves attaching skimmer to the face of an ATM

The parts are a custom perfect fit for the ATM being heisted. Some people are making the parts on cheap 3D printers.

The thieves will usually attach a card swipe reader and a PIN PAD to the front of the machine. The victim uses these instead. Some of the skimmer devices transmit the captured info immediately via SMS text message.
