A 500 yard computer-calculated sniper shot---

So, apparently making a long range rifle shot usually takes the congruence of a number of things; a skilled shooter, prepared and matched ammunition with known characteristics, a precision and prepared rifle, comprehensive characteristics tables for the drop and shift of that ammunition when fired from that gun at targets at various distances, an expert calculation of the distance you are shooting (range table? range card?), and so on and so forth. Even, sometimes, apparently, calculation of temperature, humidity, cross winds, Coriolis effect, drop or rise to the target, and so on.

OR.

You could integrate all that into one system; off-the-shelf matching of ammo, gun, scope, wire it to an integrated and dedicated computer, wire it to an eyeglass mounted screen---and get a hit on the first shot.

Apparently, you can't buy this system unless you prove who you are to the Feds. Seems logical to me. Makes everyone a sniper otherwise.
