Folk Metal = Melodic Metal. Different name, same genre.

Folk metal is usually melodic, but I wouldn't lump for example Finntroll (folk metal) and early Children of Bodom (melodic metal) in the same genre.

My first question was how did that small man with his guitar get inside this glowing thing on my desk...

I was hoping for a demonstration of the different vocal styles as well as guitar styles. And headbanging styles too.

Methinks he likes Folk Metal the most as he gave it the longest stretch... which is fine by me as it's mine too

I never really heard the differences until just now. And, apparently, I prefer Death Metal, with Progressive Metal coming in a very close second.

Nice Playing, although I hear more difference in the style of drumming between most of these styles.
