Removing Billions Of Giant Blackheads

I'm sure most women would immediately know what that tool was. My wife has one. She likes to use it on me while I'm watching TV. I've got this scar on my ear where little blackheads form, and she likes to groom me.

Seriously, this isn't weird, right? People do this? Tell me other people do this...

Ferrari 458 Crashes While Trying To Pass a Family Car

KnivesOut says...

Pretty much exactly. With an MR transmission, and a super powerful motor, if you goose it and spin the wheels even a bit, that's what happens. You have to respect the torque that a car like that can create, and in the wet, you really, really have to be careful with your right foot.

If all you ever drive are FF cars it's hard to understand the physics, but it's basically the difference between pushing and pulling. If you push something heavy without being perfectly balanced in your force, then it wants to slide left or right. If you pull, of course, it's totally fine.

How did he lose control during that simple wide-open lane change? Wheels spin too fast and lose their traction?

This reminds me of oceans 13 where they had a supercomputer monitoring a person's heart rate and facial expressions to determine if gambling wins were legitimate or not. For as good as something like this is shown, I hope it doesn't have a bad side that opens up ethical use questions.

Elizabeth Warren's First Banking Committee Hearing - YES!

KnivesOut says...

"You know, I just want to note on this. There are district attorneys and U.S. attorneys who are out there every day squeezing ordinary citizens on sometimes very thin grounds. And taking them to trial in order to make an example, as they put it. I'm really concerned that too big to fail has become too big for trial," she said. "That just seems wrong to me."

I'm kind of conflicted about this one. As someone who has logged something like 600 hours on Skyrim, I'm a pretty big fan of TES games. However, the last thing the world needs is another PvE/PvP grind-fest WoW-clone. It's just not TES.

I doubt that I will partake.

Assassination attempt goes wrong in Sofia!

KnivesOut says...

Yeah, well if you're going to do something, you do it up right, eh?

Maybe the "patsy" didn't know what was in store for him. You're right though, those old men did beat the piss out of that poor, gun-toting moron.

I would believe it was staged if it was obvious... but the beating of the guy at the end, that would be pretty harsh if staged don't you think?

Assassination attempt goes wrong in Sofia!

KnivesOut says...

Well, take this with a grain of salt, but the supposedly bulgarian commenters on the Reddit thread are fairly certain that this was staged.

And it was a pellet gun? Seriously wtf is going on in Bulgaria.

Wikipedia has this to say "On January 19, 2013 was staged assassination of Ahmed Dogan to raise the rating of the party." I'm guessing there will be a few edits of that page before things settle down.
