Impressive skills but doing this right next to a road seems really stupid. If you're doing RC stunts, do it in your backyard or an empty field or park or somewhere where a mistake a less likely to a cause a car accident.

I don't really understand why you think that ordering her to sit down would have somehow made her cooperate. The video shows her repeatedly ignoring everything the cops say. Her behavior wouldn't just magically change if the cops said "I order you to sit down." You even said yourself that an irrational girl isn't going to act rational.

As for her posing "zero threat," that's not true at all. She was throwing a tantrum and kicking the cops. They needed to detain her because she was a suspect in a crime and she was physically resisting, posing a threat to others and herself. Just because someone is unarmed doesn't mean they are harmless.

Just because you can do something doesn't mean you should. You may have the legal right to ignore a cop that isn't officially arresting you but from a practical standpoint, that's a pretty stupid thing to do. It makes much more sense to be civil and cooperative, just like in any other interaction with human beings.

The fact that you proudly proclaim that you don't talk to cops shows a pretty clear bias against cops. Then you say you hope you get arrested so you can make money. With that mentality, it's pretty clear that you aren't interested in peaceful resolutions.

Now this is good footage. You see and hear what the cop sees and hears and you actually have context before the incident. This why all cops should wear body cams and why body cam footage should be released to the public.

The cop was entirely justified here. The suspect tried to flee the scene, refused to cooperate or comply with commands and physically resisted arrest. When the suspect repeatedly tried to keep the car door open with her legs, the cops made the correct choice in pepper-spraying her. It's very hard to close a door when someone is aggressively pushing it open. Brute force might have worked but that would have been dangerous and potentially lead to accidental injury. Pepper spray was the safest option.

And newtboy, ignoring the police is not "totally fine." In fact, it's one of the dumbest and most dangerous things you can do. Police are authority figures with the right to detain or arrest you. As such, the best way to deal with police is to listen and cooperate in a civil manner. If the girl had done that, she wouldn't have been cuffed, carried off to the police car or pepper-sprayed. I know it's cool to hate cops (and authority figures in general) but at a certain point, pride needs to give way to reason and logic.

That's not how this works. Liberals and conservatives are supposed to be polar opposites. A liberal should never agree with a conservative on anything. The more divided and intolerant we are of differing opinions, the better this country will be. Freedom of speech means you have the freedom to share my political views or else you're just a Nazi scumbag.

I'd like to see footage of what happened directly before the slam. It's hard to judge whether the slam was justified or not when you don't have objective context. Witness testimony is inherently unreliable, as it is skewed by bias and students are far more likely to side with a fellow student over a cop.

I like how the guy says "Someone should call 911" while holding a phone perfectly capable of calling 911.

It seems like executing violent criminals would be the cheapest (assuming execution is performed immediately and through practical methods) and most effective way of neutralizing the threat.

People really need to stop with the whole "every life is sacred" nonsense. If you hurt and kill innocent people, there is nothing sacred about your existence. Quite the opposite, in fact. Your existence is a bane on society and should be removed.

Nonsense! If gun ownership is low, then obviously gun crime will be low too, right? Oh wait, D.C. has some of the lowest gun ownership rates in the country yet it somehow has the highest (by far) gun crime rates. Weird... it's almost as if criminals don't care about gun control and will obtain guns illegally!

Motoko Kusanagi is a Japanese charactor in the manga and anime. She will very likely have a different name in the movie because it wouldn't make any sense for Johansson to be playing a Japanese character. In fact, I'd be very surprised if the movie even takes place in Japan or has any Japanese characters.

Weird, I wonder why he chose Far Cry Primal for this particular rant. The game received mixed reviews and has an average Metacritic score of 76 (across all three platforms). I seriously doubt Ubisoft would pay for such reviews.

As others have mentioned, publishers don't offer explicit bribes. They offer access. Preview copies, preview events, interviews, footage, screenshots, etc. In the long run, that's far more valuable than straight up cash.

That's a pretty terrible analogy. Knowing where you live is relevant information to most people since it affects many aspects of our lives and is information we routinely have to provide. The names of all the oceans is useless information to 99.9% of people.

These videos are pretty stupid. Geography is largely irrelevant to most people's lives and therefore qualifies as trivia. It's like asking someone how many bytes are in a kilobyte or how many bits are in a byte except that's actually relevant since knowing those things will help you see past the marketing BS of ISPs and hard drive makers.

Different people know different things and someone isn't automatically "stupid" because they don't know random facts that serve no purpose in their occupations or daily lives.
