Ridicule? Seems exactly the opposite to me. He's not an actor portraying someone "stricken" with Parkinson's. He's an actor with Parkinson's who is playing a normal father/husband/person who has Parkinson's. Parlaying his condition into some comedic effect is no different than Kevin James or Melissa McCartchy or Jimmy Valmer doing the same thing.

It looks like a funny show. Some of you are just over-thinking it, imho.

Loved the book. This doesn't look that bad, considering movies are almost always worse than the book. Many of those locations were very like how I imagined them while reading, although, unfortunately, Ender looks way older than he would have been when he first entered Battle School. I'm still going to see it.

Nowadays they can just download videos from YouTube.

Do post-movie criticisms (as petty and insubstantial as they are) reduce the amount of enjoyment you had watching the movie? These videos are stupid.
