Did the researchers consider the counter-argument to their speculation before publishing it? Did they bother to ask rich people for their perspective?
Poor factory workers don't interact with a lot of people in their job, but many well-off careerists' jobs are almost entirely managing relationships... managing team members, managing advisers and mentors, selling clients, making a good impression at industry events, etc.
I'd say more likely than that the well-off are 'not dependent on relationships with others' would be that they have trained their minds to focus on solving problems, closing deals, and ignoring extraneous stimuli.


How many of the poor actually work in factories? Low-end jobs tend to be service jobs- retail, restaurant, beauty industry, sales etc. These are all jobs where you need to learn to read/please strangers, or you're going to have a crappy day.


While I think that most managers would fall more into the middle class category than super rich, delegating to the same group of people all of the time, and selling to other well off/management types doesn't offer the same skill set. You're just simply not going to encounter the same variety of people, and have to try to make them all happy.

There's a fine line between free speech and screaming at people/flipping out when being asked to leave private property. Sorry, but that guy had a better case for his freedom of speech being violated before he started screaming in people's faces, and yelling insults at anyone that wanted him to quiet down.

Those are pretty pansy charges BTW. Basically yelling insults at people, refusing to leave private property, and screaming about something violent. The video could work against him, at least as far as the Assault 4, and trespass goes.

Looks like he probably realized it was her, and chose to take it out on the monitor and chair rather then the wall or door, in what looks like a rental...or worse yet her. Hopefully those two aren't together, she obviously had no respect for him, and he wouldn't have been so withdrawn into WOW land if he really gave a crap about being with her. Sorry, I just have to say that from experience.

Meh, my thinking it's anal doesn't change the rules. I was just a bit surprised, you know kinda like getting stopped by the cops for j-walking. I understand not wanting the same video posted incessantly, but the embed search and search engine kinda suck... at least when I posted that one.

VideoSift has a rule about dupes. You posted a video that was already a dupe. I found your video when someone else posted the same video and knew it was a dupe. I searched for the original and found it as well as yours. So I dupeof'ed their video and your video into the original video.

Not trying to be a dupeof commando, but rules are rules. If you don't agree with what I did, feel free to speak to one of the admins.

I love how science is all evil and what not until one of these bozos needs to go to a doctor. And you sure as hell don't hear about any of them trying to get anyone convicted on DNA evidence released from prison.You never hear any objections to science until they're asked to take a metaphorical interpretaion of part of the Bible, but I guess if they did that, they'd have no grounds to hate gays and tell women they deserve it.

This is where a good arts program in public school could improve society. If everyone went through life drawing at a young age, more people would understand that nude doesn't equal sexual. A body is a body, a nude body is just a nude body. Its the viewer that injects filth into pictures of children (or hell even adults) doing innocent/non-sexual things in the nude.
