Moodonia finds his pot of Gold! (Irish Talk)
Moodonia, one of the Sift's resident Irishmen, finally got his Gold star today, thanks in part to the recent promotional efforts of a couple of middle-aged stoners. I've been waiting on this one for a while because:
1. Moodonia's a nice guy
2. I enjoy many of his videos
3. I have a soft spot in me heart for the Irish.
My dad's parents were both from the Emerald Isle, and my dad knew virtually a whole catalog of old Irish songs by heart. I bet moodie knows a few too, like Eat The Rich and Fairies Wear Boots. Also, the Irish not only invented whiskey, but they still make the most succulent amber liquor on Earth. (No offense Scotland, Canada, Kentucky, or Tennessee, but it's true.) Mmmmm...whiskey.
...Uh, where was I? Oh yeah. So let's raise a glass to our newest Goldie. Not only will Éire be known for its whiskey, dirty limericks, sweaters, Setters, Wolfhounds, stew, and U2, but now for moodonia too. And who knows, Ireland is small enough that he might possibly know the Groovy Dancing Girl, so if you're nice you never know just what might happen.

Today and yesterday I spent laying in the sun (yes we get sun in ireland from time to time), and watching an airshow whilst bobbing in the water under the flightpath and snorkelling about frightening crabs
