b4rringt0nsays...The co driver calls are not really correct. I have never heard the terms he is using in a professional rally. He should be shouting the direction left/right followed by a numbering system from 1-6 where 1 is the sharpest. The other 3 calls are square, hairpin and acute.
ChaosEnginesays...I’m pretty sure this is fake. They’ve probably just dubbed the audio over.

Jinxsays...I didn't think there was any formal convention? Sometimes the numbers are reversed, sometimes they don't use numbers at all. It's from a while back, but listen to these calls for example:

Perhaps now the whole 1 to 6 convention is more formalised, idk.

greatgooglymooglysays...When you're the driver you get to decide how the notes are marked and read, since you have to hear them while completely focused on driving at speed. Everyone has their own preferences. That video was hilarious!
TRRazorsays...I thought this was a pretty normal conversation between a man and his spouse on their way to their honeymoon domicile, right?
"You are to TURN the wheel, Samir!"
"Yeah, yeah, SHUT UP, yeah..."
"TRRRRIPLE CAUTION!!!"
wtfcaniusesays...I've heard all of them watching AU/NZ rally driving. As a few others said there are no strict conventions and some drivers prefer their own terms or make up new ones while scouting.
Also the video is ~4yrs old.

Paybackjokingly says...Definitely one of the reasons I think "the Gays" are somewhat mistaken in wanting the right to marry in the first place. Hells, I'm completely baffled even straight people want to.

DataSchmucksays...I've played a lot of Rally racing games. I feel like this is an accurate depiction of what my co-driver would be saying during my driving.
