You can embed just about anything when you get the gold star. If I remember correctly it's explained in the FAQ somewhere.

^ mandelgroove, set to a bunch of random BMG clips, but upon closer inspection, the two just have parts that sound similar, basically the guitar from 2:38 - 2:55, it's usually longer then that, but I can't find a longer version unfortunately

It was just a small attempt at humor- please don't take offense. Allow me to explain and thereby neutralise it:

Choggie has a reputation for cryptic, some would say incoherent comments. Your silver star indicates that you are an experienced sifter and have been around for awhile. So the humor lies in the conundrum that you are an experienced Sifter but are unaware that most of Choggie's comments are difficult to understand.

Man, you know when I explain it like that- it's hilarious.

There's no angst in my comment, Choggie's comment just seemed really strange to me and I thought that I might have missed something.

As far as the silver star, I noticed that I had it with only 24 sifts. Does the star have something to do with choggie or an applauded comment? If so, is there any way to figure out which one?

Hi! Hopefully this one will fly. It might have to do with the thumb image. People may think it's a typical anime clip (as you may know there are quite a few anime aficionados on the web:) ), which is not the case.
You don't have to remove LV, but this way it's more overt free advertising for LV, but - then again - that may attract viewers otherwise not interested. That's the power brands have these days.

Hey Residue,

I am sorry, but I had to discard your video.

A good bit of advice is to google your video or video title.

If you type in "videosift [video name or distinguishing characteristics]" 8/10 you can be pretty sure you aren't posting a dupe. Also, try to really have explicit tags, I am pretty bad about it too, so I understand, but do your best to be descriptive.

Anyway, happy sifting and I promise I will try to make it up to you by keeping an eye out for your videos and help them get out the queue.

the current 2-day queue was an adjustment to how big the sift queue had become, with so many addtional users.

and, imho, it's the only adjustment in 3.1 that is even in doubt, really. it could go to 3, or not, in a month or two. we'll make it work, either way.
