bareboards2Oh dear! Not my intention!
When I have some time -- in about a month -- I shall have to sneak him a link to a video that will surely sift.
Or he can revel in the Big Red like @probie. I love that Sifter's style...

Also might appear to make you come off as an irritating douchebag to some folks, but that's maybe simply because somefolks are about as patient with the symptoms and manifestations of the perpetrators of OCD as they are with fucking mosquitoes....

radxWell, in this particular case, it certainly shifts the blame away from politics and onto something you can't influence, e.g. a lack of insolation. But I'm inclined to say that she simply didn't take it seriously. "Not enough sunlight" is such an obvious answer, no doubt convincing enough to brush away any doubts one might have about its validity.

So, intent might be possible, but I'd say a mere lack of interest is more probable. On the bigger scale, however, my cynicism takes over and assumes that these people just regurgitate whatever propaganda their puppeteers feed them.
I always wonder at the "eloquence" on the part of some of these pundits. It is clear that some of the stuff they say is prepared ahead of time. But all of it?
Was she that ignorant, or did she plan her remarks for whatever weird reason Conservatives say the weird, non-evidence based stuff that they do?

radxThat poor gal has been made fun of ever since. Even her WP entry puts her faux-pas front and center.

Ah, well. I'll just file it next to "Tide comes in, tide goes out. You can't explain that."
