Amazing Guitarist
Reminiscent of a cross between Stanley Jordan(style) and Leo Kotke(sound), to me that is.
Tommy Emmanuel playing guitar how it should be done
MINK, jonny, nazdorvia, deathcow, all hit it-to musicians, this guy lacks the quality that developing a sound of one's own produces, but plays the manic, wreckless noodling card off, quite well....like everyone fawning over a guy like buckethead, or Stanley Jordan who can make dreamy sounds, and has an initial presence appeal, but the technical grace can only carry you so far.
Cobain? His tortured, fast-burning flame of soul, wash a white-washed cry for help, and for me, that over-shadows any potential for greatness of merit....just look at the ilk that treat Kurt like a god-buncha manic-depression candidates, coffee addicted and screaming for help in their own way, 20-somethings, with a fried internal navigation system....
another one really gets me pissed-Dave Matthews and his College Cult Crooning, ....that man's shit, runs together like a Jackson Pollock mural-and the kids who worship him wouldn't know good music if it collided with their flavor-of-the-week, world views.....
Doc Watson, Django Reinhardt, Merle Travis-
Jeff Beck, Zappa, Ronnie Montrose, yes, the Winter Bros., hell....Angus Young....whaddya know, most of these guys are either still alive, or lived long lives with smiles on their faces...not needles in their arms, or booze in their livvers.....
Brilliant guitar played like a piano
Ahhhhh reckless noodling, the savant's virtuostic salvation! To bad he's not inna restaurant or a hotel lobby er sumpthin'...
Stanley Jordan was no doubt an inspiration....

An excellent find. Stanley Jordan is a great, great jazz guitarist, but this one will need some help getting over the hump. Keep it around for the 4 days and I will polish off a save if necessary.

Thanks for adding my Stanley Jordan video to your playlist. I feel like its being a bit under appreciated.
The most amazing ukelele playing you will ever see (Jake Shimabukuro)
I thought Stanley Jordan was the man until I heard Jake....Sorry Stanley.
