MACRO INK world
There is more from Antoine Delach, like this 2012-2013 showreel, not quite the same though:
His blog has more photos from the videos. If you don't speak French, try googletranslate (although the first entry was translated incorrectly for me, it should say the ink one is "for Christmas" (Noël)).
Argh! It ends much too soon!! I demand MOAR!

*quality - this stuff is amazing!
No CG Here! Amazing Animatronics!
Each of his showreels is about 90% the showreel from the previous year, but the added Prometheus stuff was cool.

this is exactly what i'm working on right now; showreel breakdowns at MPC.

Pretty sad that the best visual effects are from a decade or more ago.
You may think this is true, but there is still some pretty damn amazing animatronic work being done these days. (some more)
There was no way I'd have guessed that Wink from Hellboy 2 was an animatronic when I saw the film, but then I watched the making of and holy crap, that huge creature is a man in a suit with awesome animatronics.
CG is used a lot these days, but there's still room for awesome practical effects... still room.
Damien Walters showing off his parkour skills
The music used in the original two clips (1, 2) was a better fit, if you ask me.

This is closer to acrobatics than parkour...
-Karl
There's definitely elements of parkour here mate, along with his gymnastics, I'm not sure what you mean
This video is missing the appeal of seeing someone do tricks on the street. Getting from one place to another in a creative way, while using objects and obstacles that everyone sees every day, in a way that they were not intended to be used.
I think it's still a cool video, but it's mostly just springboard stuff. Shit, I can double-tuck off a spring board, but I can hardly run up two flights of stairs.
You are right, I wasn't paying much attention. There were a couple of moves off buildings, but doesn't really warrant the tag does it. Seen a few videos of him doing parkour here and there, not really a stretch of the imagination considering how gravity doesn't seem to exist to the guy!

It's good, but best gymnast in the world? Really? You need to watch some more gymnastics.
Chill out mate! I base my comments on nothing, it's not even an opinion. He's just great and that's how I express it

Just a Normal Guy Out For a Normal Walk...
This is the best animation showreel I've seen in eons. Fuck yeah.

>> ^fjules: He did? Nice! This will be a good motivation for me to train more.
Yeah. For example, apparently he did some stuff with Jackie Chan as a stunt guy or something, and some stuff in the newish movie Kick Ass. Dunno what else, that's just what I remember reading about.
