Joe Biden's lies are legendary.

newtboy says...

Gotta go back over 36 years…for THAT? (88-24 is 36 not 33 bob…you can’t even do basic math) You tried this same nonsense 4 years ago…nothing has changed except the economy is no longer in freefall, it’s growing fast thanks to adult leadership.

Grasping at straws again, friendo…old rotten straws. Give me today’s footage of Trump after court, guaranteed it’s chock full of nonsensical lies, intentional lies, consequential self serving lies, destructive and damaging lies. His administration was the most dishonest in history by a factor of 100 which damaged America beyond belief, every single time he speaks dumb Donald lies. Any time Trump goes off the prepared teleprompter he sounds like a manic schizophrenic….incapable of staying on topic for a single sentence and taking credit for things he not only didn’t do but opposed when Obama (or others) did them. (Like the Veterans' Access to Care through Choice, Accountability, and Transparency Act of 2014 that Trump repeatedly took credit for, infrastructure investments, a functioning economy, and dozens more)

Compared to the alternative Joe is the truth incarnate and has never said a questionable word in his life.
Also, he’s not a rapist, traitor, tax fraud, sad golf cheater, traitor, election fraudster, bank fraud perpetrator, traitor, racist, Epstein partner in crime, pill popper, sleepy angry old man, narcissist, or traitor, and doesn’t owe his freedom to sex trafficking Russian oligarchs who help keep him out of prison.
What was disgraced Dumb Donald doing back then? Racist redlining in New York (refusing to rent to black people), raping underage girls with Epstein, defrauding his partners, going bankrupt repeatedly, and calling for the lynching death of the innocent Central Park 5.

A dozen more billionaire oligarchs were just added to the hit list by Sleepy Joe. Assets to be seized, travel denied for them, their families, and associates and their families.
Joe gets more done asleep than Manic Trump got done in years while hopped up on speed!
Crushing it.
That’s leadership, bob, since I know you’re confused. It’s not calling dictators lovely people and geniuses for committing war crimes. Not countering an invasion with a small ground force training exercise in another country, or ignoring it completely.
It’s taking direct action targeted at the ruling class in Russia and toppling their economy in a week.

GOP Says Trump Was Joking as Damning Ukraine Texts Emerge

newtboy says...

So you didn't look? It's clear in the photo, and there are plenty of zoomed in versions that are unambiguous. Google image it.

Because being a speed addict explains all the other bat shit crazy shit he's done, and the 3am rambling rage tweeting, the manic paranoia, the inability to form a cogent thought, inappropriate anger, stubbornness, etc. It's not a bit trivial imo. It could be a great reason to insist on random drug testing for presidents.

There's also multiple recent reports that one of his doctors from the 89's-90's was convicted of overprescribing speed to his patients...a Dr feel good. The hippy doctor admitted he was a front, not his main doctor, and admitted he didn't write the medical opinion of Trump's health he produced, Trump did.

Again, the drawer was chock full of Sudafed how? Why would you even comment on the possibility of him misusing Sudafed? Even if it was true it's trivial compared to other shit he's done.

I'm God, B*tch!

SFOGuy says...

Looks, walks, and talks like...someone in a full bore manic episode (religious, grandiose, delusional, psychotic, and elevated mood)---so, if that's it, maybe either drug induced mania or...bipolar mental illness in manic phase--the completely bad combination of someone with bipolar illness on drugs. Which apparently happens.

MELTDOWN On Airplane - Spirit Airlines

Sagemind says...

Honestly, I feel bad for her.
You all know mental illness is a health issue.
When she comes down from this Manic episode, she's going to completely crash into depression. It's a terrible cycle.

It's not something laugh at.

I know it's not the best place to have a manic attack, I mean, no where is ideal. But you should also know that she has no control over this other than getting the right Meds to even her out and sticking to them. Of course Manic people see with with a certain perceived clarity where they decide they know more and don't take the meds. I'm not sure she's diagnosed or under treatment but she will be after this.

Tragic, really.

Why We Choose Suicide

RedSky says...

I can see the value in trying to relate to people's experiences in a video like this by taking a very first hand approach rather than talking about it in a very detached / clinical manner. If the description of his feelings seem irrational, it's probably because they were and it's important to convey the nature of that manic thinking.

Trump Calls Obama To Talk Inauguration Guests

Zawash says...

I'd love to see a lot of bands playing their signature songs.
Manic Street Preachers - If You Tolerate This
R.E.M - It's The End Of The World As We Know It (And I Feel Fine)

Who the heck could perform at Trumps inauguration without it being career suicide? Ted Nugent?

Stupid Human Trick - Gum Control

I miss Letterman from the 80s, although this clip looks to be from the mid 90s if I had to guess. He was a genuine antidote to the TV establishment back then but now TV is as stale and manic and self-aware as the Internet so I stopped watching him 20 years ago. I have VHS tapes of his shows from the 80s, still worth watching.

The Mountain learns true power from champion armwrestler

kceaton1 says...

Well according to the clip of Stallone's arm wrestling show, apparently drinking automobile oil before a match does NOT make you stronger or better at it (much like Popeye and a can of spinach). BUT, it does seem to show that it has the ability to induce a superpower allowing a seemingly normal person to become schizophrenic...

BTW, I said superpower rather than mental illness, because from the schizophrenic individual's perspective he is surely battling Hell's most dangerous beasts, demons, and devils. Merely with the power of his arm wrestling techniques backed up by the miniature fission based nuclear reactor in his gut. It also leaves him in a perpetual manic state, where much like the Lego Movie, "Everything Is Awesome"...

I imagine that he may upgrade to a mixture of anti-freeze and power steering fluids; absolutely logical.

Bjork takes apart a TV

artician says...

This is certainly a dupe, I've seen it on here several years back.

I second the Bjork crush though. The original Manic Pixie Dream Girl, mayhap?

Meeting The Most Amazing Person At An S&M or M&M Party

Bill Maher and Ben Affleck go at it over Islam

Phreezdryd says...

All I see is Affleck almost instantly demonstrating what Harris is talking about. Dismissive, sneering, disgusted that the topic is even brought up, and determined not to hear it, only responding with sarcastic nonsense. Liberal PC police in overdrive, using his own broad brush after claiming its use by the other side.

Affleck had been hyper\manic throughout the episode already.

Arkansas Mother Obliterates Common Core in 4 Minutes!

dannym3141 says...

Unbelievable. Our world is being run by imbeciles and the corrupt.

There are people out there in the world that dedicate themselves to learning information, refining methods, trying to make things better for everyone. They should be running countries. But instead, we've got men with hardly any qualifications and hardly any life experience.

Instead of gathering in a room and listening to community representatives telling them exactly how we want our money spent, the top brass are actually sat in a cushty conference room with a buffet and champagne, copping backhanders and selling us down the river.

When did the general populace suddenly fall into this groove of 'civilisation' - this unspoken belief that The Government are all-seeing, all knowing, and always out for what's best in the long run. We, collectively, have just been taken for billions and billions of dollars or pounds or whatever you use by a collection of the world's richest people. They have not been held to account, and in fact they've somehow convinced us to pay them back what they've lost. Imagine if you lived in a wild west village and you'd paid the sheriff every week to protect a safe with everyone's money in it, and he'd been out at night gambling it away. You'd be fucking furious, an angry mob would be at his door. But for some reason we're all docile about the exact parallel of that situation happening in reality.

We really need a paradigm shift in public consciousness, because the metaphor has progressed, right now that wild west village is under martial law and being run through intimidation by a gang. We don't live in some fantasy world where some unseen force is ensuring fair-play. We are the people who have to strive to ensure fair play in everything otherwise we're just letting people rob us. Literally.

We can't progress like this. In charge of the UK's education system is a guy who has never had any experience teaching whatsoever, let alone teaching under the current system, let alone qualifications in teaching. There's a petition on to have him do a week of teaching so that he can understand just how badly he's ruining everything. This is a real person like you or me and he's in charge of running the education system. We're all standing by watching someone we know is incompetent do a complicated job. Half of us wouldn't even admit to being able to do that job if we were offered it, but this fucking bumbling posh moron takes the wheels with the manic grin of an idiot that feels no fear. Dashing the wheel left and right, we idly watch on as he plays around to see what will happen, crossings our fingers nothing bad happens.

How To Direct a Great Movie

Trancecoach says...

There's a lot of passion and 'in-game' talk in this interview, which suggests a strong artistic sensibility, but perhaps a cavalier grasp on reality (which speaks to the hypomanic of manic-depressive qualities among most artists) -- and this really comes across in the director's story about how Ryan improvisationally and intentionally risked his own life during the filming of one of the scenes...

I saw this film when it came out in the theaters, and I remember being struck by this moment in the film, but also believed that it was "safe" for the actor (with a net or a harness or something). Clearly, this was not the case and we could've lost a great actor in Gosling had there been an accident... Unfortunately, I, as an audience member, didn't know that it was "real," and to that end, perhaps the film didn't fully benefit from extent of his Ryan's risk.
