Hindenburg Disaster - 4 Different Rare Angles // HD Coloriza

luxintenebris says...

Goebbels wanted to name the Hindenburg for Adolf Hitler.
Eckener, no fan of the Third Reich, named the airship for the late German president Paul von Hindenburg and refused Goebbels’ request to name it after Hitler. The Führer, never enthralled by the great airships in the first place, was ultimately glad that the zeppelin that crashed in a fireball didn’t bear his name.

Frau Eva von Zeppelin was offended by the group's name (Led Zepplin) for "dishonouring the family name". The direct descendant of Count Ferdinand von Zeppelin demanded the band to change their name. On 28th Feb, 1970, the group performed one show in Copenhagen as The Nobs but decided to retain their original name afterwards due to popular and critical opinions that favoured their original name.

Hitler responds to Brexit

Mordhaus jokingly says...

And Hitler ended up in a ditch, covered in petrol, on fire, so, that's fun! I think that's funny, 'cause he was a mass-murdering fuckhead. And that was his honeymoon as well! Double trouble!

"Eva, let's marry."

"Where should our honeymoon be?"

"Well, in a ditch, covered in petrol, on fire. I've already arranged it upstairs."

"Oh, how romantic, Adolf."

"Yes, I thought!"

Fun! What a bastard! And he was a vegetarian, and a painter, so he must have been going, "I can't get the fucking trees... Damn! I will kill everyone in the world!"

Ex Machina Trailer

artician says...

Automata bothered me that they had their own "Rules of Robotics", but felt like trimming those back to only 2, leaving even wider loopholes for creative drama, but still following it to the same conclusion.
I liked The Machine a bit better because instead of a fictional portrayal on AI finding a way through it's man-made cage, it was about experimenting with an AI that had no cage and seeing what self-discovery brought it.
Ultimately both those films just devolved into meaningless action in the end. I hope this one doesn't. Otherwise the premise looks almost identical to The Machine, right down to the robots name (Eva/Ava, same phonetics).

Lots of interesting science fiction out the last couple years though. Lots seem to be dealing with our infatuation of deconstructing our physical bodies to explore what's left. Between this film, The Machine, Robocop, The Signal, and I'm sure at least one other I'm leaving out, they all have viscerally imagined portrayals of human figures with as little recognizable human traits as possible.

Gravity extended agoraphobic trailer

Gravity - Official Teaser Trailer [HD]

probie says...

Yes please! One of my favorite scenes in a sci-fi movie is John Lithgow's frantic spacewalk in 2010. It never occurred to me how frightening an EVA could be until after I saw that.

I hope this is good.

Giant God Warrior Appears in Tokyo

Del Toro casts Portal's Glados in "Pacific Rim" (Trailer)

EvilDeathBee says...

-Have you ever seen Godzilla? Evangelion's Angels (and the story) were a little more complicated than simply "giant monsters sent to destroy mankind". From this trailer we don't know what these monsters are or came from, they could just be random monsters like in The Mist.
-There were NO giant robots in Evangelion
-From this trailer, these robots are remote controlled, they are not inside them. Even if they were, ever heard of Battletech/Mech Warrior (they also use neural links)? Robotech/Macross? Gundam?

I was basing this off observations from this trailer. Nothing here says "Evangelion" to me apart from a few vague similarities that are not unique to Eva

EMPIRE said:

Seriously?

Let's see.
- Giant monsters sent to destroy mankind (at least that's what they say in the trailer)
- Giant Robots controlled by people inside
- Giant Robots controlled by people inside with "neural links"
- Giant Robots each constructed by Japan, US, and Germany (that's not in the trailer I know, but i read it somewhere)
