you should give this guy a listen.i posted related videos if you find the bioneers platform unsavory.his TED talk is especially informative and received 100 votes.
but the sift was different then.
The vast majority of speakers I've heard on the bioneers platform have been, as I said already, staunchly anti-science. I was taking issue with the association of a science tag being connect with the bioneers. Don't know how that's all that controversial?

so ignore what the man is saying because of the platform given to him by a group you find to be "mother earth loving hippies"?
i am not going to even attempt to unravel that kind of twisted logic.

bcglorf says...Don't associate the term science with the bioneers. The bioneers are a group of mother earth loving hippies. I say that, because fully 50% of the bioneer presentations I've been unfortunate enough to hear on radio all revolve around the 'scientific' importance of respect for GAIA and mother earth. Regularly they will make the link with mumbo jumbo about quantum this or that. They are adamantly and vehementally anti-science and spreaders of massive amounts of deliberate and brutal ignorance.
Maybe this is one of the few actual scientists they've managed to get their hands on, but he did just talk about the 'earth's own internet', so not hopeful.
